Creating a visual identity for a place is a challenging task. The city of Kavala needed more than a logo. It needed a face that reflects its distinctive character: one that expresses joy, optimism and a genuine sense of welcome.

Inspired by the city’s atmosphere, the identity brings together history, the sun, the sea and everyday life in one visual language. A bright smile becomes its defining expression: simple, memorable and unmistakably Kavala.

Recognisable without words, it lets people connect with the city instantly. And makes them smile.
